January & February 2011
Dear Children of God,
We have a special treat for you! We asked the leaders in Venezuela to write about the things that took place in January in Venezuela. They did a great job! Someone in Venezuela translated it so the writing is a little different. Be blessed!
COLOMBIA
We are so excited about our new school in Aracataca that began February 7. We have 36 students that are hungry for the Word of God and desiring to be changed into God’s image. Aracataca is 4 hours from our headquarters in Pelaya. The churches are providing an air- conditioned room and food for all the teachers that will be staying each week to teach the Word. This is the first time an air-conditioned room and food was provided and we are rejoicing in our Lord and giving thanks. One of our new teachers taught one lesson the first week and Sonia, director of the Bible Schools, said she was an excellent teacher and a great helper.
We will begin another school in Pailitas on Feb. 7. Our new teachers live in the Pailitas area. This will make it easier for them to get in more experience teaching in the HMI Bible School.

Harvest Ministries International in the new year says a special blessing for all those who have worked with this ministry and have enabled us to continue bringing life and blessing through the word where others can not ….
The M.I.C.(Ministerio Internacional la Cosecha) began the new year with very good plans, we continue meeting every Monday to pray and intercede for people and places we go and we have seen the support of God in the prayers.
In the Church of Japreria we have proposed that children learn to know God and have a good relationship with him, teaching the word of God and seek it in prayer, obedience and putting into practice what they learned. With adults, our goal is that they put action to their faith, starting to go to other churches to preach the Gospel and bear witness to what God has done and is doing in their lives and their community.
The Japreria Church is praying for sick people in this community, two who have cancer, one is Michael who has prostate cancer continue to pray for his health to improve and Sonia with uterine cancer that has returned to the community and she declares that healthy. Maria Luisa very serious heart patient, she confesses that Jesus is the healer, her body was pretty swollen and we pray with her and take the Lord's Supper and a week later she feels better. Belkis was poisoned and nearly died, the brothers in the community came together to pray with Santiago(Pastor) and Belkis was saved. Rogelio, eight years old, cut off 3 fingers with a machete, pray in unity and it only took a finger and stopped the infection. Lucas another 9 year old boy fell from a tree that is very high, broke his nasal septum and fractured his arm but he was very ill, we prayed for him and the next day he left the hospital.
In the farms 8 people were saved and two were healed and a girl was saved in Japreria and another is reconciled with the Lord and asked forgiveness for having failed to GOD.
Please pray that the Lord continue to give us wisdom, guidance, spiritual and physical strength for each of the families and people in the ministry and every place we go, also for God to touch hearts to help financially for the completion of the church in Japreria, to fix the road and a bridge that fell down and we are going through a small river, but with the onset of the rains we can not pass.
We appreciate your faithfulness to pray and give of your finances, we are very thankful for you. Thanks and blessings of God.
ESPERO QUE SEA LO QUE NECESITABAS…..
