Dear Laborers Together in Christ,

 

The harvest is about coming together and working together to pull the lost from the kingdom of darkness into God’s Kingdom of Light! This is the purpose of HMI, training people to GO and spread the light of Jesus throughout the world.

 

 HMI’S Bible Schools in Colombia are doing great! The students are excited about the Word of God and how the Holy Spirit has opened up the eyes of their understanding so they are receiving revelation knowledge.

 

On June 5, 2011 HMI was honored to graduate 28 changed students. It was a time of joy as the graduates celebrated, not only the accomplishment by graduating, but for the change that has taken place in their lives through the Word and the personal ministry they received. The graduates provided food for all the teachers, guest, and themselves (check out the pictures of the food) Zuleny Romero, Director of HMI in VZ, and Pastora Carmen ministered at the graduation and accepted a framed picture of each student for us. (see photo)

 

The Bible School in Pailitas, Colombia will graduate in July. They are very enthusiastic about the change that is taking place in their hearts and lives as the Word is taught by the second level graduates of the HMI Bible Schools in Colombia. 

 

 HMI had an evangelistic meeting in Tinacoa, a small Indian Village about an hour from LaVilla. We had 12 adults and 9 children saved.  God’s faithfulness!  We had the opportunity to have coffee at one of the homes and observe as the ladies washed clothes and kids in the river. It was a great time for us and the people of the village.

 

HMI ministers stayed 3 nights in Japreria Indian Village to continue  training the leaders of the church, visit in their homes and pray for people in the village. We brought clothes and shoes for the kids. One night we had a time of prayer for the village and prayer for the sick. In attendance were 60 adults and over 50 kids. 60 adults coming to a prayer meeting is miraculous. The meeting turned into an evangelistic service and 16 people were saved. God is good! The place the Adult church meets is on someone’s front porch and there is not room for all the people.   Some of the people had seats, many people stood,  and some of the kids were on the roof of a house trying to get close. The people wanted to hear the Word and be prayed for. It was an awesome time. Please continue praying for the completion of the Japreria Church building.

 There are 16 people in Japreria with chronic Hepatitis B. The disease has progressed and their livers are not functioning well. Others in the village have Hepatitis but it has not progressed as far. Some of those with Hepatitis B are saved but not all. Please pray for their salvation and healing. Thank you!

 

 We had a Farm Church at Puerto Leon and about 7 years ago the farm got a new manager and he didn’t want us to continue. Every so often we would stop by and ask if we could come and minister and the answer was always the same, NO. The last time we asked was in February of this year and received the same answer, NO. In April HMI was going to Japreria and the truck broke down close to this farm. The people on the farm gave our ministers permission to go in the yard and wait for parts to come and repair the truck. While they were there they shared about Jesus and 5 men were saved. The next week the Japreria ministers stopped at Puerto Leon to give booklets and begin to disciple the 5 men. During this time 8 more men received Jesus as their Savior. The manager has now given us permission to go to the farm every other week.. God always makes a way! There are people waiting on all of us to share the love of Jesus. God had already prepared their hearts and all we have to do is go and tell and He brings the increase.  God has prepared many hearts for all of us to share the love of Jesus.  Ephesians 6:19 Paul said, “ pray for me that utterance may be given me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.” Pray this not only for HMI but for the Body of Christ.

 

Haydee’s children’s cell group continues to be blessing to the neighborhood. Haydee has the honor to impart the things of God into the children, knowing she is preparing them for the future of Venezuela.

 

God has been so faithful in making the way for the work of the ministry in Venezuela and Colombia. We are thankful to each person  for the prayers, financial support, and giving of clothes & medicine.   Thank you! If you are not part of HMI we would like you to take this opportunity to give into this ministry. HMI reaches people in small towns and areas where others do not go.
