JAPRERIA INDIAN VILLAGE
MINISTRY TO THE NATION OF JAPRERIA
After a group of Indians began coming to our church services at a farm, we questioned them as to who they were and where they came from. They were Yupka (U-pa) Indians from the tribe of Japreria (A-pra-via) and they were walking for 2 hours in the jungle to get to our service at the farm and then 2 hours back to their village. We began going to their village and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom to them in the jungle. We established a Christian Church in the village in 1999. HMI workers go weekly to the Japreria Indian Village. On Wednesday HMI conducts Church services in the Adult Church and 3 children’s churches. The majority of the Japreria’s have been saved and baptized and are now learning the principal of kingdom living. The truth of God’s Word to His people is so very awesome to see in the change that it has brought about in the Japreria Village.
