FARM CHURCHES
PLANTING CHURCHES ON DAIRY FARMS
HMI with graduates of the Bible School travel at night to the Dairy Farms within a 1-hour drive of our city and plant churches . We minister salvation, water baptism, Holy Spirit baptism, healing, and help with the physical needs of the men who work and live on these farms. The farms are in remote areas and most of the men working on them are from Colombia and are away from their homes and families. Ministering to them has produced hundreds of salvations since we began this ministry in 1998 and God performs miracles of healing on a regular basis. These workers come and go from their homes in Colombia and so they are able to take the Gospel of Jesus to their families and friends. New men are hired regularly so we have the privilege of seeing men saved at almost every meeting. HMI has ministered weekly to 7 farms and we are told that there are more than 1000 farms in the area. There is so much to be done! The harvest is truly great and the laborers are so very few.
HMI has trained and set into place a director for the Farm Church Ministry (Carmen). She has great vision for reaching the lost, changing lives, teaching spiritual principals by the word of God, raising up leaders, delegating responsibility to teach others, motivating the ministers and expanding into other farms to establish other churches. The Farm Church Ministry, like the Japreria Church Ministry, is very demanding on one’s time and body. The trip to and from the farms is a long and physically difficult one and is a continual job to keep our ministers going and spiritually prepared to effectively minister to the men on the farms. She has established a leader at Victorino Church who works there and he is teaching to other church members which allows our ministry team to go to another farm and establish another church.
