 May & June 2010

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

There are so many exciting things are taking place, that you are a part of, in Venezuela and ColombiaThings and people are being set in place so we can reap a greater harvest for the Kingdom of God.

COLOMBIA

HMI continues to train people to go and preach the Gospel.   We have  Bible Schools in Pailitas and Pelaya, Colombia.  The students in Colombia are flourishing as they are being taught the Word and putting into practice what they have been taught.

VENEZUELA

In April & May we had 85 people receive Jesus as their Savior in different areas of ministry.  Nursing home had 24, Japreria 29, cells 25, farms 5, church 1, & jail 1.

Our Children’s Cell group had a Children’s crusade and had 17 children saved.  The children in the cell did all the drama and activities in the crusade and they were so excited that God used them to lead 17 children to the Lord.  Haydee Pena, our leader, emphasizes to the children the importance of working in the Kingdom and gives them opportunities.

HMI began going to the nursing home, which is a wonderful new facility in La Villa. People are brought in for the day in a bus and they stay all day having beds, food, activities, and medical help provided.  We visited with the people, loved on them, shared the Word, prayed with them for salvation and healing and other problems.  We go around to the rooms before the meeting to see if anyone is in them and needs prayer.  One lady was too sick to leave the room.  Seale & Eva prayed for her and they went back to check on her and she was feeling good and preparing to go to the meeting.  The people  are so precious and hungry for God’s love to be manifested toward them.  The people give testimonies about prayer being answered in their families and healing in their bodies.   We have had 24 people to receive Jesus as their Savior.

Japreria Indian Village always has many things taking place with the adults and children as God manifest His love and faithfulness.  HMI had a 2 day revival and had 27 saved ,

7 rededicate their lives to Christ and 11 people were water baptized.  Concepcion Caripaz, graduate of HMI Bible School, preached the revival with Pastora Carmen helping in water baptism.  The children are learning and growing in the things of God and having fun doing it.

Great News!  We finally received our land to rebuild the church that the government tore down 31/2 years ago with the promise to rebuild. Construction has begun!  HALLELUJAH!  For 31/2 years the government has been giving us land and then taking it away when we would start to build and NOW we have started building on our original property.  Isn’t that just amazing!  Japreria made the decision to build on the land without approval of government, which was legal. Their desire was to stay in good graces with the government and their vision for Japreria but they finally realized the government would not give permission for the church.  When the government came and saw the construction they were not very happy.  The government told them they did not want a church they wanted the community to keep their culture and their Uckpa gods.  Santiago told them when their village served the Uckpa gods they were thieves, prostitutes, & beggars.  Now they serve the living God and they are prospering and  not having to beg or steal and they will not serve the Uckpa gods.  We have no doubt this church building is in the heart of  God.  This physical building is to be a light to other tribes of His greatness and they will know that nothing is impossible with God.  Japreria village has new homes, schools, etc. and none of the villages we have visited have been blessed like Japreria and that is because they chose to serve the living God!

The farm churches continue to reap a harvest as our laborers are faithful to go, regardless of the circumstances.  Church of the Harvest and other areas of ministry continue to go forward to reach people with the love of Jesus.  A man came to our church for about 6 weeks and he received Jesus and died about a month after being saved.  God is so faithful!

PROJECT:

We appreciate those of you that have given toward building the church in Japreria, which helped us get to where we are now.  We have finished the foundation and most of the floor. Now it is time to begin to build up!  All of it is for he glory of God that He can be lifted up and draw all men to Him.  We need your financial help to continue construction.  This is small for our God and if we all work together we can get it completed quickly, but we can’t do it without your help.

God has been so faithful in making the way for the work of the ministry in Venezuela and Colombia.  He is helping us each step of the way.  We are grateful for His mercy and grace.  We are grateful to each partner for the prayers, support, and giving in behalf of this ministry.  Thank you!

It’s Harvest Time!  Everywhere people are looking for God’s help.  We live in a time of tremendous opportunity to reach people with the message of Jesus Christ.  HE is the answer.  Take the opportunity   that God gives you with boldness and confidence in HIM.
