In January 2000, we moved to Venezuela to start a Bible School in Villa del Rosario. Once the Bible School was established and the nationals began graduating, we expanded the ministry. In 2005, we started our first Bible School in Colombia. The graduates of the Bible Schools in Venezuela did most of the teaching in Colombia until the Columbian nationals completed their training, and additional teachers were raised up in that nation.
Now, married forty-four years and in our mid 60’s, we, along with our ministry staff, minister weekly in the mountains at Japreria Indian Village, where we have established an adult church and three children’s churches. We also travel weekly to rural churches we have established on diary farms, and have started two children’s cell groups in areas where there are no churches. In addition, we have adult cell groups, a radio program, an outreach program to help with food, clothing, medicine, and other various outreach ministries.
Our main focus is to train nationals to do the work of the ministry. The success of the ministry is evident as most of this ongoing ministry is done by nationals, graduates of the Bible School.
